Shayla.com Update Alert (03/30/12)

In the 03/16 update for www.shayla.com Michael Ninn re-debuted (which is not actually a word, so — APRIL FOOL!) his HD restoration of Scene 1 from FEM ARIA (2002). Well, it was really only the first two-thirds of the scene that were included in the update. The first segment was the solo sequence featuring Shayla LaVeaux; the second segment was similar but spotlighting Jenna Haze. Now, the restored Scene 1 is finally completed with the inclusion of the G/G component.

Better? Worse?
In his most recent feature release, THE FOUR (2011), Ninn’s photography was influenced by the chiaroscuro techniques of Baroque painting. He has not freed himself of that influence yet, because he tries doing that here with images taken a decade ago. His intent is to make it seem as if the light is being generated from within Shayla’s body and radiating outward. Ninn’s results are mixed, but the flawless beauty of the main ingredient cannot be disputed.

For this update Uncle Gibby gave his account of the second night of Shayla LaVeaux’s return to exotic dancing. More accurately, it was an account of how Uncle Gibby spent his day in Detroit until it was time for Shayla and Olivia Parrish to resume their second evening as the feature entertainment at the Bouzouki Greektown. Unfortunately, there are no pictures available of this event nor of the historic first night, because Shayla had neglected to hand her camera over for Uncle Gibby to use (his experience in photography was primarily the reason I sent him to Detroit, but — whatever)! Anyway, the pictures of Shayla’s third and final night of feature dancing in Detroit are scheduled for Shayla.com’s 04/18/12 update. So be there then, if you’re not therein already!

No video clip this time, but a very special photo-set:

It was  only a 35-pic teaser, really. The bulk of the photos commemorating that event are coming in a future update, with, one would expect, a detailed reminiscence by Shayla.

Hi there Boyz and Girls,

I set off at the beginning of the year to try to eat a lil’ more healthy …  not that my diet is horrible,  just something to be more conscious of  and to improve.   So I started drinking a green monster every other morning. This is my take on the original recipe … OJ, collard greens, bok choy, banana, half apple, parsley, carrots and protein powder. Throw in some ice, blend, and there ya have it … a shake filled with healthy goodness.  I’m consuming less red meat and incorporating more grains and fish.  I’ve been trying a ton of new recipes,  some good, some not so much, but it’s worth it when you hit a home run. For those midnight snacks for my sweet tooth, I enjoy the  yummy little cuties. They def do the trick. Vinnie and I have been hitting the trails for some walks and taking in all of the beauty that spring brings, after a dull brown and (hopefully) white winter. … I do love the seasons!!!!!  It’s almost garden time!!!! :)))

So since we’re on the subject of food, :00  Friday I was invited to one of the top restaurants in Denver. (Cholon Bistro, Asian fusion) I have some friends that sell and hunt mushrooms with one of the top Chefs there.  Well we had the honor of sitting at the chef’s table!  It was just like sitting at the sushi bar.  As we ordered, it was prepared and explained right in front of us.  This was one of the BEST meals I have ever had in my entire life! Above and beyond the special treatment, the food was out of this world! I’m salivating just thinking about it!!! Most of the dishes take from several hrs to one or two days to prepare. Absolutely unreal!!!  If you ever make it to Denver, you have got to check this place out!!!      ChoLon.com

For this update commemorating the birthday of Michael Ninn, www.shayla.com is making available for the first time anywhere Ninn’s specially restored HD cut of FEM ARIA (2002) Scene 1 — featuring Shayla LaVeaux and Jenna Haze. Maybe “restored” is an inaccurate assessment. What Ninn has done is to not only restore the scene to its originally intended widescreen dimensions (Shayla’s head is no longer cropped off the side of the screen as she dances, which was a problem in the original release), but he has also reprocessed the lighting contrast and color separation. This decision presents its own problems in terms of picture clarity in the black and white sequences, but it’s OK, because shayla.com already had the original release SD version of the scene available for download, anyway!
